Plagiarism Screening
Scholar : Social Scholar and Service recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) when plagiarism is identified in an article submitted for publication in Scholar : Social Scholar and Service.
Definition:
Plagiarism is the act of intentionally or unintentionally obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or value for a scientific work, by citing part or all of the work and/or scientific work of another party that is recognized as its scientific work, without declaring the source precisely and adequately.
For this reason, then:
The article must be original, unpublished, and not in the process of waiting for publication elsewhere. Material that is taken verbally from other sources needs to be clearly identified so that it differs from the original text. If plagiarism is identified, then, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve the action according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:
Articles submitted to Cendisia: Social and Community Service Scholars will be checked for plagiarism using a plagiarism application.
Plagiarism Rate
- Plagiarizing some short sentences from other articles without mentioning the source. Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and quote correctly.
- Plagiarizing most other articles without proper citations and not mentioning the source. Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in Cendisia: Scholar of Social and Service, and the Author may be sanctioned for not being allowed to publish in Cendisia: Scholar of Social and Service.
- All article authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit to Cendisia: Cendekia Social and Service. If the article is classified as plagiarism, then all authors will be subject to the same action.
- If the author is proven to have submitted a manuscript to Cendisia: Cendekia Social and Service by simultaneously submitting it to other Journals, and this overlap is found during the reviewer process or after publication, then action will be taken according to point 2 above.
If plagiarism is found outside the above rules, the editor of Cendisia: Scholar of Social and Community Service has the right to provide sanctions according to the policy of the editorial team.
Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian mengakui bahwa plagiat tidak dapat diterima dan oleh karena itu menetapkan kebijakan berikut yang menyatakan tindakan spesifik (hukuman) bila plagiat diidentifikasi dalam sebuah artikel yang diajukan untuk dipublikasikan di Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian.
Definisi:
Plagiat adalah perbuatan secara sengaja atau tidak sengaja dalam memperoleh atau mencoba memperoleh kredit atau nilai untuk suatu karya ilmiah, dengan mengutip sebagian atau seluruh karya dan/atau karya ilmiah pihak lain yang diakui sebagai karya ilmiahnya, tanpa menyatakan sumber secara tepat dan memadai.
Untuk itu, maka :
Artikel harus asli, belum pernah diterbitkan, dan tidak dalam proses menunggu publikasi di tempat lain. Materi yang diambil secara verbal dari sumber lain perlu diidentifikasi secara jelas sehingga berbeda dari teks asli. Jika teridentifikasi plagiat, maka, Pemimpin Redaksi bertanggung jawab atas peninjauan kembali artikel tersebut dan akan menyetujui tindakan sesuai dengan tingkat plagiat yang terdeteksi, dengan pedoman berikut:
Artikel yang diserahkan ke Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian akan dicek tingkat plagiarisme menggunakan menggunakan aplikasi plagiasi.
Tingkat Plagiarisme
- Menjiplak sebagian kalimat pendek dari artikel lain tanpa menyebutkan sumbernya. Tindakan: Penulis diberi peringatan dan permintaan untuk mengubah teks dan mengutip dengan benar.
- Menjiplak sebagian besar artikel lain tanpa kutipan yang tepat dan tidak menyebutkan sumbernya. Tindakan: Artikel yang diajukan ditolak untuk publikasi di Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian, serta Penulis dapat diberi sanksi untuk tidak diperbolehkan publikasi di Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian.
- Semua penulis artikel bertanggung jawab atas isi artikel yang mereka kirimkan ke Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian. Jika Artikel tergolong plagiat, maka semua penulis akan dikenai tindakan yang sama.
- Jika Penulis terbukti mengajukan naskah ke Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian dengan secara bersamaan mengirimkan juga ke Jurnal lain, dan tumpang tindih ini ditemukan selama proses reviewer atau setelah publikasi, maka diberi tindakan sesuai point 2 di atas.
Jika ditemukan tindakan plagiat diluar aturan di atas, editor Cendisia : Cendekia Sosial dan Pengabdian berhak memberikan tindakan sanksi sesuai kebijakan tim editor.
